Andar Header IDC

The Immigrant Development Center (IDC) has served the Fargo-Moorhead community for over 20 years. We provide economic development services to help immigrants and refugees build stable, self-sufficient lives. Our programs include workforce training, small business development, micro lending, driver training, and legal assistance coordination. We also operate the International Market Plaza, a business incubator in Moorhead. The basement clean out project supports our next major initiative: the Moorhead Cultural Mall, which will become a cultural and economic hub for the community.

Project Details Andar Header

Help prepare the future home of the Moorhead Cultural Mall for renovation. Volunteers will sort, haul, and clear items from a basement space previously used by a group home, while setting aside usable donations for local charities. This project supports the creation of a future cultural and economic hub in downtown Moorhead.

Volunteer spots available: 9
Time: 1 - 5 p.m.
Location: Immigrant Development Center - 725 Center Ave, Moorhead, MN 56560

Restrictions: Volunteers should be comfortable lifting and carrying items and using stairs.

What to Bring: Please wear comfortable clothes that can get dirty and closed toe shoes. The basement may be dusty, so a mask may be helpful for those who are sensitive. Work gloves will be provided.

Helpful Tips: Parking is available on the south and west sides. Please look for the volunteer check in table in the hallway, where staff will greet volunteers and provide a brief orientation before the project begins.
