YMCA Child Care is a place for children to explore, learn, grow, and feel safe, cared for and celebrated. We encourage positive relationships between the children, child care staff, and parents to ensure a high-quality experience. In every program, and every classroom, we address the specific needs of children based not only on age, but also individual pace of development. Spend time supporting young children at YMCA Childcare. Depending on the needs of the classroom that day, volunteers will engage with children ages 12 weeks to 5 years through play, interaction, and age appropriate activities. This project helps create a caring and supportive environment for children during an important stage of development.

Restrictions: There are no volunteer restrictions for this project.

What to Bring: Activities may take place indoors or outdoors depending on the weather, so please dress comfortably for both. If you have a favorite children’s book, you are welcome to bring it to share.
